our Mission

DaiyeOne is a sheet music transcription/publishing company whose mission is two-fold:

1. To provide artists with world-class transcriptions/arrangements of their music in its original instrumentation, as committed to original recordings, for sale as merchandise.

2. To make these resources available to educators and fans, expanding curricula to include culturally/historically important music which has been previously unavailable in institutional settings or overlooked by major publishers.

In an age where physical sales of records/merchandise are nearly obsolete and disposable content is law, many artists search for ways to provide fans with meaningful mementos of their work while also making ends meet. Official sheet music transcriptions not only give exclusive access to the actual workings of songs (with artist performance notes and historical context), but they also give educators and bandleaders a chance to study/learn/perform music which has previously only been available for study via recordings or videos.

Incredible musicians and subcultures all over the world are creating vital art, but only a fraction of this is ever made available for exploration in educational settings, or made available for purchase. Sheet-music-as-digital-merchandise is a revelation for artists: production overhead is minimal, revenue margins are huge, while providing teachers, students, and fans the resources to come to a much deeper appreciation for artists' contributions to the musical conversation. 

DaiyeOne is a small collective of arrangers, composers, designers, and musicians, tailor-made for committing all elements of a recording to software, providing historical/cultural context, designing a professional layout, and offering artists/educators a premier finished product, ready to release, sell, distribute, or teach.
